What’s the Stinard Inspections Process Like?
Everything we do is designed to help you find the problem. We first take an overall look at your home to identify areas that could be contributing to mold growth – this could be due to moisture penetrations into the home or elevated humidity areas along with poor ventilation. We use specialized mold testing equipment as well as moisture meters and thermal imaging to help us identify these areas.
As mold is naturally occurring in the air, we take an outside air sample for comparison and then we take a number of samples inside your home that is based on the square footage and possible affected areas. We also will take surface samples of any area that appears to be mold-like. All samples are sent to a certified lab that specializes in mold analysis. From that analysis, we will discuss with you the ways to help eliminate mold in your home and ensure your family’s health and well-being in Milford, CT area.
